This issue is causing me great pain. Posts: 5. From what I’ve seen in Windows I need to delete all partitions on the drive and then convert. Currently the default behavior is that formatting is based on the machine running the clone tools boot mode.

My Disk Director 11 can’t convert a GPT drive to MBR. It says the partition is in use. (Booted from a boot CD with UEFI and secure boot. So I’m trying to figure out a way to convert the identical (cloned) Windows 7 64 bit SSDs to MBR without having to go through the full install.
